Tour of Italy: from starters to desserts, here are the best tuscan wines
Chianti Classico La Mole Castelli del Grevepesa, 1990, 0.75-liter bottle: the first wine on our Tuscan wine list is a 100% pure Sangiovese that can literally bewitch anyone who tastes it thanks to its ruby red color. It is fresh and persistent and is sold in numbered bottles. Would you like a suggestion? Do not serve it above 20 degrees Celsius in order to appreciate each and every sensorial nuance.
Cepparello Isole e Olena, 2016, 0.75-liter bottle: with a long aftertaste, this wine is extraordinarily elegant and pleasantly flavored. Much more could be said about this bottle… However, we do not wish to spoil the surprise for those who are lucky enough to try it—one glass at a time.
Gorgogna Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi, 2016, 1.5-liter bottle: the Vermentino and Ansonica are the two vines from which this white Tuscan wine is produced. It is as rich as it is sapid, and it never loses its flavor. Its aromas go from prickly pears to Maracujas, from cider to dandelion, offering a lovely feeling of freshness.
Brunello di Montalcino Val di Suga Vigna del Lago Angelini, 1990, 0.75-liter bottle: among the best Tuscan wines, we had to include this wonderful bottle. To the taste and smell it is a perfectly balanced wine, and it captivates those who taste it with a delicate nuance of spices and read fruit. It is perfect to enjoy with roasted meat and aged cheese, and it should be served between 18 and 19 degrees Celsius.
